Loader L4240HSTC with 854 loader not raising after being parked in float

I have a 2010 L4240 HSTC-3 with 854 loader. It only has 700 hrs. on it. I parked it with the loader in float and now it only rolls the bucket. It feels as if the up and down is unconnected as it moves with no resistance. Pulled the boot up and don't see any broken parts but also don't see it connected or hitting anything when you try to move it up and down. Any ideas would be appreciated.

I'd make certain the cables are attached at the joy stick and at the other end.

Maybe the attachment will help.

Check you hydraulic quick connects and make sure one hasn't popped off.

Being that I left it in float, it feels like it is stuck there. The joystick flops forward and backward with no resistance. The bucket works normally. I will check my quick connects this morning. Does the joystick move spools to direct hydraulic pressure or does it move cables? Any ideas to free the float detent? Picture of my two best buds because they both work harder than me!

It looks like a weld let go. Got the new part from the dealer but how do I get the compression pin out or find a tool to do it? (The pin is hidden by the bracket and is maybe the width of a toothpick or smaller.)

Glad you figured out the Root cause.

Typically the correct size drift is all that is needed to remove.

Where exactly is the pin located? Can you take a picture of it and possibly mark its location?
