Hello everyone - I have a 1997 kubota L4330 with 650 hours on it. Tractor was running fine and then all of a sudden it lost rpms, then seemed to recovery, then back to losing rpms and shortly thereafter died. I can turn over then engine send some times the engine will fire but it will not run or stay running. Acts like it has no fuel.

I took off the fuel filter and cleaned the inside, put it back on and no improvement.

Any suggestion what it could be? I did add 5 gallons of fuel. It showed 3 bars on the gauge and almost fuel when I added the 5 gallons

Any help would be appreciated

Scott

Pull the line going into the fuel filter and see if you get a good stream of fuel. Sounds like you have some gunk that has plugged the outlet on the fuel tank.

Thanks Aaron - when we put the cleaned out filter cup back on it seemed to fill up ok. Looking at it, it is full. I will check to see if it had a steady stream

Dad called local dealer, Lochen in Newburg wi), walked thru on the phone how to get air out of the fuel pump which was causing the issue. Tractor is running with no service costs - thanks Lochen!
