Congrats! I was in the same dilemma . I just put my deposit on the L4330. It cost me $1500 more and from what I am seeing , it was worth it. Your getting a 4 cylinder vs the 3 which is always better for durability, noise and more. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Your getting a great tractor but most certainly inaccurate about the 3 vs 4 cylinder. The L3830 is actually smoother and slightly quieter then the L4330 diesel. It has a longer stroke as well. My 3 cylinder International falls into the same category. I use a 5 cylinder Kubota L4850, it is considerably noisier then the L4330 or L3830. When I purchased mine, noise was one of the most determining factors. At any rate, the L4330 is a very nice way to go. I came very close to getting it but my price difference about this time last year was well over $2000 and in my needs, the major benefit between the two was that extra 11" of loader height.
My L4330 arrived yesterday I am waiting for the dealer to get everything put together. All I have to do now is decide between the HST or GST transmission. He has both and is going to get them ready and let me decide witch one I want. I believe I am going to follow Rat’s advice and go HST. While I like the pulling power the GST would have. The control you get with the HST is just to good to pass-up.

Thanks for all the info. I think I will go with L4330 and LA853. I'm going to look at a used BL4690a BH with aprox. 400hrs for $3800. Does this sound like an OK deal? Anything in particular I should look for?
