I have the little brother also-- L3400 HST--
As so many have said and may add---
The HST is good for loader work, close quarters and careful movement..
The clutch is better for plowing and field work.
Personally, I don't see how I could have used an clutch...
A neighbor has a 2550 clutch, and he fights with it in close quarters..
I ran circles around him last year clearing snow.... Should have got a video of that!!!
Anway-- just see what you are going to do with it and drive them both(HST and clutch)...
and remember no matter what I or anyone here says-- YOUR opinion of how it works matters the most..
and if you get it in the next few days-- What a great Christmas present!!!
