Hello all! Long time lurker and only second post. Any help is appreciated.

I just purchased a low hour L4760 without a FEL and for the life of me I can't find anything used. Going the dealer route and paying for a new one is a last resort. The LA1055 is the loader that is supposed to go with this tractor, from what I have read. Are there any alternatives? I looked at Bush Hog and could not find anything made for the L4760. Anyone else making non OEM FEL's for this one?

There are 3 sizes of OEM Kubota loaders for the Grand Ls. My L4060 can take the small & middle one. I think the L4760 is the one that will take the bigger loader. All the Grand Ls are the same frame except the L3560, so not letting us spec the big loader on the smaller or mid size Ls is a marketing thing I think. The numbers on Kubotas typically indicate the lift capacity in Kilograms.

I'm happy with mine. Just dug up a photo & I guess its a LA805. I haven't pushed it to the limits (1,800lbs or so) yet like I did on my old L3200. Hard to beat the OEM solution for proper fit. 20161207_104340.jpg

I'm not sure where you are located but there are used LA1055 FEL's out there. You might try calling this Kubota dealer in MN.

Used Kubota LA155 Front End Loaders for Sale | Machinery Pete

Or this one in WI:

Listings for Kubota LA155 | Fastline

TractorHouse.com is always a good source for used equipment:

TractorHouse.com | KUBOTA LA524 For Sale - 59 Listings - Page 14.

Depending on your budget, you might try talking to a dealer about trading your L4760 without FEL for another FEL equipped tractor. Could be cheaper than going for a new LA1055.

Do you think a LA805 would work on my tractor?

Thanks for the links. I did see those and did not realize the one on Pete's was used. I will give him a call.
I made the drive to WI last year for some equipment.....that's a looooonnnnggg drive. It would have to be a killer deal on the new one to go that far.
I'm in NE Texas.

Kubota states the LA805 is only compatible with the L4060:

Kubota | LA85

Since the dimensional specs are identical for the 4060 and 4760, the LA805 might fit the L4760 but I would check with a dealer first.

I doubt there is a significant price difference anyway.

The used one at Pete's is sold. I've had 2 local quotes for $5500, installed.

Is that for an oem loader with bucket? If so I would say that's a decent price

Staying with the OEM specified loader is preferable. Finding another Kubota loader besides the one matched to your tractor can be tricky because Kubota seems to build certain assemblies that are almost, but not exactly, the same from one model to the next. Just enough different to preclude interchangeability. Try before you buy with anything used like subframes and mounting brackets. You might get lucky and it fits, but don't assume as much.

That's my take on things. Pretty sure you can order it with one. There were 2 options for loaders on mine. Some shady dealers will try & undercut another quote by specing the smaller loader.

If I recall the difference was a little under $1k.
