La145 throttle issue

Hello,

I just rebuilt my carburetor, one of the seals failed to the point that I need to pour fuel into the carb to get it running. After it was started it ran good, there were no issues with the throttle not working After I rebuilt the carb the lawn mower would start, but I could not get the throttle to work properly. I have attached a couple of pictures to see if anyone can figure out what's wrong.

Hard to see from here (!) but is the governor spring connected to the arm from the throttle control plate (attached to the control cable)?

Also your fuel hose clamp needs re-positioning.

Yeah, the short spring goes from that slot in the arm ( you see it below the carb solenoid in the pic) to the mechanism below.

Here is the update, I bought a new Carb and installed it, it started fine for a couple days, Now it won't start, unless I put gas in the carb (Same issues I was having before),

While the mower is running without the blade engaged there is only one speed (high), If I engage the blade the throttle works fine.
What do you think the Issues are?

I think you have your Governor spring, Throttle linkages and possibly the Choke incorrectly assembled still.

When you push the Choke lever on the console does the Choke lever on the carburettor operate to fully close the choke flaps? The engine usually won't start unless the choke closes fully.

The single (high) speed still points to the Gov. spring or the throttle cable or the throttle control rod - or all of the above.
