LA211 loader on a BX2230

I did not get the loader when I bought the tractor 5 years ago, but I would like to have one now? My problem is that I have the front quick hitch, 60" snow plow, and 4 way valve and I want to use the 4 way valve for the LA211 loader if I can. I checked with the local dealer and he showed me that the new loaders will not bolt up to our older BX tractors so I have to find a old stock LA211. He told me that it is possible to find the loader without the valve that stays on the loader frame. He also told me the 4 way valve would work with the loader but I would have to make a mount for it that would attach to the loader mounting bracket on the tractor. When I look at some of the pictures for the loader valve (which have not been to many) they all seem to have the connections inline above each other, my 4 way valve has the connections, 1 set side buy side over the second set (I will attach a picture ) so I am not convinced if my valve will work or not.
Has anyone made this type of installation on their BX with a LA211 loader?

Scarlo, I did give it some thought, but my wife said I should just see if I can buy one. I do like yours you did a great job on it. Nice looking tractor you have there.

Does anyone have a picture of a LA211 loader on a BX2230 from the front showing the valve and the space between the loader frame and the tractor hood?

Only on the latest version are the hydraulic lines in the vertical position. On the tractors before they were the same as yours. You might ask your dealer to see if any dealers have a left over loader on the Kubota locator.

Nice flame-job. Every BX should come stock with a flame-job.

I figured this would be hen's teeth, trying to find someone with the fixed 4-way valve on a BX1830/2230. I don't think many folks went with that option.

Perhaps the exploded views in the parts manuals could shed some light on the issue? I can't concieve of there being a HUGE difference between the two loaders...that is the LA211 with the attached 3-way valve assembly and the LA211 that accomodates the 4-way valve assembly fixed to the tractor.

Art, I will get to the dealer next week to see if he can locate a LA211 with out the valve, I did not know there was a locator they could use to check for one. I guess you (I) are never to old to learn.
Keith, you had a great idea. I downloaded the LA211 parts manual and it shows everything, it acually shows a mounting plate for the valve and a block assy hydraulic that goes over the 4 way valve outlets and secures to the valve body with banjo bolts into the outlet holes which redirects the fluid to a four outlet block that has all four holes inline. I think this will work. Now if I can find one. By the way the flames are just a cheap Harley stick on things. One last question? What is the difference in operation of the loader with a 4 way vs 3 way valve?

WOW, NICE JOB on the FEL!!!! I noticed that you have a rotary broom. I have been looking at picking up a used one, what do you use it for and how do you like it??
