There is a stop missing from the old loader. I forget exactly what the conflict is but its possible to damage the old older unless you weld a stop on. As I recall, I think it is the one that was in the picture. Lots and lots of tractors go out of here that I never see. This was one of them, I just remeber the other sales guys talking about it. I think we just welded up a stop ourselves.

My dealer quoted $545 for the Kubota QA Adapter and $530 for a new bucket (66"). I can have them convert my existing bucket for $125 + ~3 hours of shop labor at $85/hr. It's close to a wash on the price of new bucket vs converting old bucket. I am still considering a pin-on grapple as well since it would save me a bunch of money and I am not sure I would want to add any other loader attachments, maybe pallet forks but I don't really see a need for that at this point. I could also get one of the $299 QA adapters and save some $$ there, I suppose.

You can save alot of money if your able to do it yourself.

If I was going to get a skid steer QA, I think I might be best off putting the money towards getting a welder and some cutting tools and learning how to weld.

I'd probably need someone with some experience in welding to do it with me but money better spent then paying for the labour.
