There are some prior threads on this issue (always good to check, saves waiting for an answer if and when the right person comes online).
Anyhow, many Kubota FEL control levers, including that on the 482 (which I have), do not stay in adjustment well. Twice since I've gotten the tractor (210 hours), I've had to fiddle with the small adjustment nut on the UP/DOWN control arm. Try it - you'll, relatively shortly, figure out which way to adjust it, and can fine tune to what you want. I haven't figured out how to keep the adjustment stable (tried the locktite stuff - nope), but maybe it's a slowly moving target as the device wears out - ask me again in the Spring, when I've got more hours on the unit.
Yup, there's other potential problems, like metal filings in the hydraulic fluid, and so on - but the MOST likely issue on Kubotas is the darn control lever adjustment nut.
