I have probably driven past your place - wife's family farms all over Baldwin county but mainly in the F'hope area. Glad to see another LA member on the forum.

The first 1 picture is a severely deteriorated log

The next is 1 that we cleaned up, we are going to fill it, much like you would a rotten tooth

Beautiful! Nice job! What a great place you've made.

Mighty pretty place now. You've done a great job. I'm curious as to how long, or how many man hours the transformation took.

I found these, when I was rehabbing, the old dairy barn. I have never seen any in color.

Have any of you?

I believe it all comes down to where the mud dobbers were getting there supply of mud. Maybe during the construction of your pond they got some of that dark red clay, and some of there older stuff is more sandy. All the ones that we have in central OK are clay red.
Dave
P.S. The place looks great! It takes a special person to see the potential in a place.
