Lack of performance of my 16 LA FEL

As noted, the bucket is not enhancing the performance of your loader. Also, there are a significant number of Class III tractors out there with main relief valves 100-300 PSI light. Easy to check and easy to fix. Have your dealer check your system pressure. Should be able to test and adjust right in your driveway if he does any road service at all. Seems like some dealers do very little on-site work.

I just noticed today the front bucket leaks down after sitting. After noticing this I lifted the lift to see it would also leaked down but it seem not to. Is this normal?

A certain amount of leak down is normal. I get it on my FEL as well as my BH. I have no problems however when the tractor is running.

My LX116(Case IH) = LA16 NH. Preformed very well today. I had borrowed my friends Grappel bucket. I moved about 80 yards of brush. The aux front hyd system my dealer installed worked flawless. The loader has out preformed my old K*#@%a loader better than I imagind.

TV, just curious, how did you cut the brush before you moved it with the grapple?

I for one would really like to see some close up shots of your aux. front hyd. system and the grapple itself. How much does the grapple weigh? Sounds like a nice addition.

I had some brush aka tree limbs that were in piles from previous chainsawing expeditions. Also had piles of Autum Olive that I had ripped out with the backhoe a few days ago.

There are pictures of the machine in the photo section under Case IH. The is 1 of the front hyd coupler mounted on the fel, 1 of the control switch mounted in the fel control handle where the turtle would be. 1 of the electric solonoid valve mounted on the fel upright. The grapple bucket is made by Bradco.

If intrested in the price to add this optoin or speak to my dealer that came up with this useful ad on system. contact Bob at Woodbury Tractor Company 203-266-4845

TV I checked out your pictures of the front hydraulic setup and I'm green with envy. If ever I wanted to add a grapple to my TC-40D SS having the control right on the joystick would be a big plus for me. Yours is a very attractive package in my opinion.

Sometimes I think that "leak down" is temperature related. Maybe catch the tractor cold, curl up the bucket, and quickly shut off the tractor. If it still leaks down, there's actually a little oil escaping internally or externally, but probably harmless.
