Land Leveler / Land Plane Advice

I have about 1/4 mile of driveway in NE Indiana running a 27 HP Kubota 2710. I already own a box blade a sand scraper blade but I’m seriously considering a land leveler. I won’t add rear remotes to this machine for TNT and I’m no professional operator so I feel like the land leveler is the right tool to maintain the drive.

I’d like to run it often enough that the mechanical tillage will eliminate weed growth without herbicide. I have a solid #2 limestone base and have been topping with Duraberm (crushed steel mill slag).

Curious if anyone else is using a similar setup or any other experiences. Leaning towards either the ETA model or the LandShark counterpart.

I have a crushed stone (A23) driveway. There's quite bit of fines in my driveway and it gets pretty hard once it dries out. In the spring before the driveway hardens up, I have used a back blade with scarifers to level out pot holes and dig up weeds. I added gauge wheels to my back blade and those make a big difference for leveling. The length of a land plane should give you the same effect if not better. If there's no major pot holes, the Harley rake does a great job of getting out the weeds and turning some gravel over. Once it dries out in the summer the driveway gets too hard for a back blade and I imagine a land plane as well but I have not used a land plane.

I called the gentleman that delivers the Duraberm and he uses a Land Plane on his driveway so I ordered one. Decided to give the Independence series from Homestead Implements a try. Weight is about the same as the best selling Land Pride at my local Kubota dealer.
