Land Leveler

Any of you use the Everything Attachments land leveler? I am wondering if this would be a good purchase for my gravel drive and pad area. I am looking at a 6 foot size and am concerned that I may have trouble pulling it up my sloped drive? I would pull it with L3901. Have any of you used it and been able to keep the crown in the road? If so what was the trick? I have used my rear blade in the past, but it does not always get to the bottom of a wash out or pothole.

One of those with hydraulic top n tilt kit would make the crown on the road a piece of cake. I would guess your tractor would pull just fine as long as you were not taking a really deep cut. If you are going to invest in that sort of attachment it's' worth it to get the hydraulic top link at a minimum and the tilt would make the crown on the road much easier. If you need to move more material or have really hard ground a set of rippers will help loosen things up.

I'd be real curious how those woudl do cleaning up the last packed snow and ice on a road as well. It sure looks like a sweet attachment.

I have a landpride 4' behind my b26 and like that I can get on both sides of the crown in the rd I run out of traction before I run out of power and I have foam filled tires. My drive is 1300' just takes a few passes. And I always roll it with an old asphalt roller when I am done which keeps the rock in place.

I have a Land Pride GS2584. 84" wide I use it to maintain my mile long gravel driveway. It works like a dream. I tried for many, many years to do the same maintenance with a rear blade and had very little success. I would, also, highly recommend getting a hydraulic top link to go with the grading scraper. I do not have hydraulic tilt but its really easy to put tilt into the unit manually.

Picked up a Landpride GS1572 and use it behind the B2650. Power is not an issue, traction can be if the blades are set too low in the frame, but easy to adjust up if need be.

Your L3901 shouldn't have any problem unless you have a lot of slope.

As far as crown goes the blades are angled to pull material to the one side, you can also adjust the blade depth separately on each side. Very easy to use, just use the teeth to rip it up enough to get below the potholes, then lift them up and make some passes with the grader until it's to your liking.
