The 5 x 5 was for a Cut.I have never seen one with 3 blades. How long was it to accommodate 3 blades at such angles?
The original one we made was 8ft X 8 ft and more recently I made a 5' x 5'.
The 8x8 we towed with an old Willis Jeep.
Perhaps I exaggerate the angles a bit but we made them fit what we had. The idea is that the middle blade is at a greater angle than the frt and rear mainly to keep the drag going straight when pulled.
I used 3 x 3" 3/8 angle stock for the blades with 2 lengths of same for the stringers or backbone with hoops welded at front to pull with 2 chains.
Think it took me all of 1-2 hours to weld the whole thing together.
I also added a scrap flat plate to accept weights, (we used stones)
