Sorry for such a long delay in updating, between travelling for work and moving out of our house it has been very busy.
On to the pictures,

Here is some of the stone delivered and the basement mostly braced, almost ready to start backfill.

Here are the piles of stone to backfill the garage. I was worried if they used the shale that came out that even with compacting it that it would still settle too much and i would have cracks in the garage floor.

As you can see that was basically no topsoil here on top of the hill.

Now we can move on to framing, these guys were amazing. It was a mostly Amish crew that came out of Ohio and were staying local so they worked long days, 6am - 930pm. They did a great job, i am very happy with their work.
Some pictures of the framing.

I like that you have a side-load garage like we have. It's nice to see house instead of two or more garage doors on the front elevation.

That house is looking great. Very similar to what we have been looking at building. I agree the view you will have will be amazing and also like the side entry garage.

Here are a couple pictures of the kitchen before and after the cabinets. I need to get more pictures of the inside as painting and flooring is done and i'm now installing trim.
