- John Deere 3320
I had a 72" Land Pride Landscaper Rake that was included with my property when I bought it. It was an older model. I finally got around to modifing it to work with my Imatch quick hitch system. Since the lower pins were very very narrow I puchased a 26" long Cat1 bar from Tractor supplu and welded it to the front of the rake. I then purchased a new top hitch from a local Land Pride dealer and drilled it to fit the existing frame making sure to offset it for the new bar. I also purcased a new stand from land pride. All that came with it was the leg of teh stand. I found some pipe of the proper internal diameter and cut off a 2 3/4" piece with the chop saw and cleaned it on the grinder. I then drilled a hole through it for the pin. Got out the welder again and welded it to the frame. Painted the entire body of the rake with some Land Pride beige paint. Then I bolted on that drilled top hitch with new grade 8 bolts and installed a top link pin. Reassembled the rake blades to the body and installed the support stand. Backed up the 3320 and it worked like a champ. Here are a couple pictures of the result.
