I like the land Pride 500 pull behind best, wife can run spreader and I come behind her with cultipacker, sometimes you don’t have a lot of time to get ahead of rain.
The big benefit to pull behind is that ground speed and height are removed from the equation of consistent spread. Height remains basically constant and the speed of the broadcast spin is controlled by ground engagement of the wheels. From my experience and from watching others, these ate the 2 biggest inconsistencies with 3PH broadcast spreaders.
