Land Pride cutter replacement blades.

And may I ask what the Land Pride blades cost? I have an 1860, but the way it is used I don't expect to have to buy blades unless I have a freak accident.

Most places sell them for the LP price of $39.78 each.

Having the right tools made getting the blades off easy... 1-5/8" socket, 3/4 ratchet, 1/2 can of PB B'laster, and a 6' pto shaft used as a cheater bar!! I think I can sharpen these a few more times:

Yes those look doable. The problem with mine was that one hit a stump and broke and the other one was bent all out of shape.

Ok, looked at Agri-supply, none of those were like what I needed so I also ended up buying new from my dealer. Best $80 I've spent in a long time. My landpride, RCR-1560 cuts better than my finishing mower! Part number, 820-198C

Since I only paid $250 for the mower, thought it's time to give it some needed attention. Need to fix some of the rust, next.

Was harder getting the blades mounted vs. removing them. Had to use a sledge hammer to beat the bolts back into the holes, take up slack with the ratchet, repeat lots of time.

While I did notice it took a little more effort than expected to put the bolts back in, I sure didn't have to bang them in.
