Kubota B7510
I have a B7510 with a Land Pride FDR1660 Finishing Mowing Deck off rear PTO. Replacing my mowing deck belt again. Anyone know of a parts place to purchase these belts. My local Kubota Dealer's prices are too high and they have to order the belt anyway and charge me shipping to their store. Don't know if there is much difference between an OEM Land Pride Belt or an aftermarket. In general are there better places to purchase parts away from the Kubota Dealer?

just get the number off it or take it with you to a belt supply store (where they can measure it) like Albert B. Crush or something similar

I find that I have to be sitting down when I order Kubota parts from them. Anyway I bought a belt for the Land Pride FDR2560 from Midstate Industrial Supply, Inc DBA VBeltGuys.com. The Land Pride part matched the part number they listed for the item. I verified that it is Kevlar. Amazon has genuine OEM Land Pride belts for about $50. the OEM equivalents (also Kevlar) are about $20. I probably should have looked there before I bought it, would be here by now.

I use a NAPA B103 on mine.

I am also replacing the belt on my FDR1660 mower deck. I thought I would try to order from Amazon to save some money. Placed the order, got the belt, it was cheaper but holy cow the belt they sent was approx. 200". The original belt is about 106"!

Now I am going to have to contact them, get a return authorization, box it up and possibly pay the return shipping. I would have been better off going to Napa or making the 100 mile round trip to the dealer. Save yourself some aggravation and do not order online from the big A.

Call your dealer, they may well ship to you. If you go the NAPA route, specify a Kevlar belt.

You need to appreciate the critical number in the belt description is the letter P standing for Kevlar.

You need to get a belt with something like BP120 not B120.

Youtube has lots of videos on how to measure your existing belt so you can start searching for one using the generic descriptor which all manufactures use in addition to their own part number,
How to Measure V-Belts - YouTube

A Gates, Dayco, Carlisle, BP120 will all be the same.

If you have been using belts without the letter P, then they will be failing frequently when used on mower decks.

My Landpride FDR2572 uses a BP160 while my Cub Cadet uses an AP103.

The letters A and B designate belt width as you will learn in the youtube video.

I find buying belts from "general retail" a lost less expensive than buying belts from specialty equipment manufactures replace parts (in my case John Deere garden tractor).... A belt brand I have had good luck with is STENS... And for blades for said garden tractor, OREGON brand...

Thanks for the explanation of the P in belt P/N. I helped a friend replace the belt on 3pt finish mower. I'll belt the $23 belt he bought did not have a P in the P/N. Mower was KingCutter 5'

Even buying on line you can get cheated. I twice have ordered BP belts on eBay and when the belt arrived it was just a B.

I complained and then they sent the proper belt which was much more expensive which explains the substitution.

On my Landpride a B belt only lasts an hour or less before it is broken.
