Piston, you've got some pretty heavy attachments to muscle around and a QH would be nice. But as I understand it, the QH has a set distance for the lower pins to attach. If they all aren't the same, the attachment has to be modified as I imagine it. Then too, the PTO drive shafts might be too short.

So far I just muscle my stuff around since I'm retired and in no hurry; and most attachments aren't all that heavy and sit on pallets on a gravel base. BUT.........I sure would like to have a QH that would fit everything as is.

Most of my implements are the standard cat 1 with whatever that spacing is, however I do have chipper and log splitter that have been modified, and I don't think they'll fit the way they are, but I don't think they'll be hard to modify either.

I have a QA due to my health not because I'm lazy. Secondly I'm only 5'6" and 140#'s. Most of my emplements are three or more times heavier. My only problem with my QA is working my wY in so close that I can hook up the drive line to the PTO. Other than that I'm pleased. Looking to by a QA for the FEL.

I live in western Kansas, but my job is based out of central Kansas ( Salina, Ks.) I have a part time job also that is located in Salina, next to Land Pride's Product Development division. On occasion we have come running out of the shop to what sounds like some 16 year old doing a demo derby in the parking lot. What it ends up being is Land Pride testing out a new piece of equipment. I have seen them take new a zero turn mower and run it into a concrete retaining wall not once, but numerous times. There is always one of their guys abusing something to test it's strength. Their equipment is built tough and tested tough. The other day we asked one of their workers what a piece of equipment was and he replied a 14ft rotary mower. It was a monster. IF I changed implements very often I no doubt would buy the Land Pride.

Great story!!! Now that would be a job I'd come out of retirement for!!! Especially if I could get LP to deliver the products to my farm so I could abuse them!!!

Piston, I've got a LP box blade MR3584 that I modified into a hydraulic raise. I had to modify the top link to make it work on my QH. It's sitting down at the farm. Next time I'm down there I'll get pics. The problem was the QH hook would hit the hydraulic cylinder when trying to hook up. I've also got an old Rhino 3pt blade there that I modified to fit QH, I'll pic it also.

I would like to see some pictures of your 3584 as I picked up a 3578 that needs some work and a Hydraulic system installed.

Yep, you've got what I started with except mines 6" wider. I'll try to get pics today when I go to the farm.

Your top pin holding the hydraulic will need to be secured so that it will not migrate towards the center. A few washers on the left side should take care of that though.

Piston and Murph, here's a couple pics of the top link mod. The conversion to hydraulic would be a bit lengthy so I'll save that for when you are ready to work on yours Murph. Before you start let me know and I'll give you some pointers along with more pics.

The top link mod is required to use a QH so it's relavent to this thread. My fix was a bit crude but works fine. The problem for me was that the top pin hitch was too high for my non-adjustable QH. Also it was too far rearward and the hook couldn't have hooked it anyway. Pretty simple fix.
