Land Pride RB1560 Price?

I'm just looking for a baseline. My local guy has a somewhat rusty used Land Pride RB1560 for $250. He said new ones are $500.

That sounded pretty high for a new one,.. so I don't really know if the $250 is on the mark or not.

Since LP is a pretty common brand at dealers, I wondered if I could get some pricing from the TBN folks?

I opened this post thinking that you may have intended to enquire about a RD1560 finish mower.

At $500 new and $250 used I quickly realized that you weren't talking about mowers. But I still didn't know what a RB1560 was.

Luckily, I found an old LandPride sales brochure and realized that RB 1560 is a "rear blade".

I also found out that finish mower model numbers start off with "FD" for flat deck, "FDR" for flat deck rear discharge, and "AT" for air tunnel finish mowers.

Now that I know what you are looking for, I may be able to call the dealer tomorrow and find out. I suspect that the "new" prices will be close to what you were quoted.

I was quoted $350 by my dealer for a 7' light duty land pride blade. If this is a 5 or 6' medium duty blade... $500 sounds in the ballpark for that. If it's a heavy duty blade it sounds like a steal. I ended up with a KK for $179.

When I first got my tractor, my dealer sold me a RB1572 for $300 as part of the deal. A year later he gave me $200 trade in for it when I bought a used RB3572 from him. I talked to my neighbor last spring, he purchased a RB1572 for $400 from the same dealer. If the blade is in good shape other than the rust, $250 sounds like a fair price.
