Land Pride RCR2596 and 2510 Rotary Cutter Questions

Anyone run a Land Pride RCR2010 (10ft) or RCR2596 (8ft) rotary cutter? Manual says 1.5 inch max cut - sounds like a light duty cutter, which is OK.

Anyone have one of these mowers and how is it holding up?

Hi leeave96, I have a RCR2010 I bought new around 7-8 years ago. It’s a great cutter, I’ve had zero problems with it. Leaves a really nice, clean cut. It is rated at 1.5” diameter max cut, I try to not exceed that but I will tell you it is a very heavy cutter to be rated “light duty”. Any other specific questions, let me know. I’ve pulled it with a 52 hp JD and a 75 hp NH. I don’t think you’d want to go under 50 horse to pull it.
It is a bear to grease with all the shields. I cut some 1 inch or so holes in the plastic shields in a couple places to access the grease zerks easier. Good luck !
