Land pride rear blade--gauge wheel?

Am familiar with how the gauge wheel works--just wondered if anyone had a Land pride blade with a wheel mounted on it and if it was made well and functioned adequately. I will be grading a road and know for sure I would like one. Probably just pull the trigger and drop the bucks anyway.

I have a LandPride LR with Gauge Wheels and they work very well. They are made well and function adequately. However, the gauge wheels setup on the LR is different from the single wheel on the RB.

Which LandPride RB do you have? I assume you have the 25 or 35 series since I don't think the gauge wheel is available on the 05 and 15 series. The 05 and 15 series offer skid shoes, which would be OK but not as useful as a gauge wheel. If you wanted, you could always purchase the LR gauge wheels and adapt them to your RB. I guess the single center gauge wheel would allow for tilt.

I have a Landpride 3584 rear blade with a guage wheel. I use it primarily for plowing snow on my 2 mile long private road. It does a good job keeping the gravel on the road instead of the ditch. I'd recommend a solid rubber tire though, I kept rolling the tire it came with off the rim, but haven't had a problem with the solid tire. Also, my next investment will be a hydraulic cylinder so I can raise and lower it from the seat. Hope this helps.
