I found the manual and it says it weighs 670lbs which is pretty beefy for its size. If I find I don't have a use for the GS1572 and the RO2566 you can buy the RO2566 off me. If I had to pick between the two I would pick the grading scraper.

If you can afford to , have them both. Each one excels in it's own right.

I think you're actually lucky that you didn't get it because a B2320 seems too small for it. I think it would have sort of worked but after looking up the weight of a 2320 it seems pretty light for its horsepower. I did have an L245DT with a BB2572 which was able to pull it even with a full box of gravel without any hint of lack of power or traction but I think that one was also a lot heavier. I'm guessing either a heavy duty 48" or a 54" would be a better fit.

Hi Pat,

I would really love to have it, but I don't really have anything to offer in trade- I just bought my B2320 last year, and I'm trying to get the tools I need to do the work that needs to get done.

If I hadn't had to pay the additional $100 for shipping, I would been able to go a bunch higher too, although I was willing anyway and ebay locked me out.

Like I said, it's just sour grapes, because of what a good deal it was, and not incidentally, having to start a new search for a nice heavy piece of BB to use on my gravel drive [at a reasonable price].

It may actually be a better fit for your bigger rig anyway, but I really was drooling and hoping to stay under the radar of all the sharks...[if i'm allowed to mix metaphors.]

Really though, if you find that you hate it, and would like to work some kind of deal in the future, PM me.

[I say that knowing from my reading on TBN that the odds against are in line with buying a winning powerball ticket for last weeks drawing today....]

Did you find the manual on the LP web site?

Don't you find it bizarre that a bunch of similar manuals are for sale on ebay, when most of them can be downloaded for free from the mfg website?

Well, back to work.

Take good care of her,
Thomas

I'm still interested in it, if you decide to sell it and not at all sure that I agree with being called lucky in the circumstance, but as has been said onTBN again and again- every one has a unique set of circumstances and needs and what works for one person, may or may not work for the next.

I think that for what I have to do, it would work fine, and the added weight can't but help my traction over all. A 48" blade wouldn't quite cover my tire spread, and I haven't seen any 54" box blades for sale.

I'm currently looking into Bush Hogs rollover bb's, but I do think that their 60" bbwhich appears to betheir smallest current model, is too big for the B2320.

They seem to be the only one's making still making them though...

I have thought about a BB with a hinged rearblade, but budget is truly an issue.

FWIW

PS: Mountain View Ranch- you're NOT helping........

C'mon- he's got both, and can't but use one at a time anyway......

Originally I thought that the blades pivoted inside the housing but after I got it I quickly saw that the whole thing flips around. It's pretty cool and I hope to test it out soon and it even came with the original manual.

Dirt Dog Manufacturing makes a 4' rollover. I understand they actually make the rollover boxes for Bush Hog. McGee Farm Equipment, an advertiser on here, sells them at good prices and ships all over the country. You can find them here: Dirt Dog Rollover Series Box Blade. HTH.

Sorry for the delay in replying, but I've been busting my hump at work....

The problem {for me} with McGee and Dirt Dog, was the $1300+ delivered price. The shipping fees weren't awful- 233 for 500+ and a 48" pallet width ain't too bad, but when you start with a cost of 1000+ for the 48" BB, it was too expensive to keep on my wish list.

But as I detailed on this thread:

HD Box Blade? - Page 12 - TractorByNet.com

I ended up with a older, though still new/never been used 48" Gannon BB for <900$ delivered from Bingham Equipment in Mesa,AZ.

BTW, they still have one more at that price!

Thanks,
T:drink:
