Landplane with clay?

I tried your suggestions today and went a little faster with the front raised a little. It seemed to help. The track is getting levelled more each pass but I think it's just going to take lots of passes to get it as flat as we want it. The clay is mostly dry and powdery and still doesn't seem to flow over the blades as easily as you would think. We're getting a guy out to shoot it with a laser level and then work up the high spots so they'll level easier. I think if we get rain and it settles will help too.

You sure do have an interesting project. I would like to see pictures of the track - when you have time. Loooong ago - I raced flat track. Rode a 750 "Snortin' Norton". Never won anything - had a good time - I was 24, married, knew the meaning of pain - - up against 17, 18, 19 year olds - no commitments, knew no pain and were going to live forever. I didn't stand a chance.
