LandPride 3rd function valve on LX series

I am attempting to install the LP 3rd function valve on my LX2610.

I was expecting the control valve to be mounted on the right loader support as seen on other Kubota’s.

But, the instructions have the valve mounted on the left loader support, on the inside of the support.

This had me confused.

I looked closer at the instructions on the first page, and found the print date 11/11/2020.
So, I think LP has repositioned the valve and hydraulic lines to the left side in a protected position.

I had my 3rd function valve and grapple installed by the Kubota dealer in 2014. It's on the right side where it connects up to the tractor's external hydraulics. My tractor - 2009 Kubota M6040. I wonder - is your on the left side because that is where Kubota has moved all their external hydraulics.

I looked up the instructions for the Landpride 3rd function install on Kubota LX tractors. The valve clearly is installed on the left side of the tractor. Forget your preconceptions, follow the instructions and your install should go smoothly.

Here is the valve mounted on the left fel mount. A little cramped for hooking up and removing fittings, but it is more protected.

The valve is always on. There is no on/off button.

Now, if I just had my grapple...
