LandPride Quick Hitch: QH10 or QH15?

That document is a little vague, it really does not state clearly that that 10 and 15 are Cat 1 and the 20 is Cat 2 and the 30 is Cat 3... Or so it would seem.... I guess that is what we get for documents written by engineers.... All it really talks about is the pins....

Go with the QH15. You’ll be able to easily adjust to most attachments if needed. I’m glad I bought mine.

Definitely go with the QH-15. I went with the HF one as I have the metal working ability to make the necessary mods. Have bought all my bushings at my K dealer though. The manual previously linked has all the sizes. I bought the longest ones and cut to length as needed. be sure and use the flexible top link bars for ground following attachments such as a brush hog. Save a couple hundred with the HF one.

I've gone through a half dozen of the cheap Harbor Freight, Speeco & other no name QHes. All sold with old machines or were given to friends, not worn out. Some were welded to a SSQA plate for a snow plow mount. Worked well & was handy for moving impliments too.

Some needed a little grinding on the hooks. Most or all got an extension welded on the back of the tophook stick out further. Those would be the main reason to go with a LP over random cheap QH. The LP might need a tophook extension still, but should have the right hook size & not need grinding.

It's worth it to get all your impliments QH compatible. Between that & TnT, hitching & unhitching crooked impliments is no problem.
