Grading Landscape Rake/Box Blade for JD 2210

Spring will be here soon and I'm looking for suggestions on a landscape rake and box blade make and model for some upcoming projects I've got in mind. I have a 900 ft gravel drive to keep level and filled with gravel and also 100 ft of sandy beach frontage (which has about 25 feet of depth from the water to a bluff) that has become heavily invaded by grass and weeds. I'd like to tear out the vegetation on the beach and then smooth over the sand.

I bought a Woods GBC48 Estate Series Box Scraper for my BX23 before I even received delivery of the tractor. It has worked great so far and I have really beaten on it a few times. Don't know about landscape rakes but I also bought a Midwest 60" rear blade that I am very happy with - the Midwest landscape rakes are pretty much the same chassis as the rear blade so those should be pretty good too. I believe Midwest makes their stuff in green so you can get a matching color. Check out Corriher - their implements are made by Midwest so they are the same thing. A lot of the Kioti implements are also made by Midwest if you don't mind orange.

Landscape rakes work really well: can "crown" the drive for proper drainage and by angling it, keep the gravel out of the lawn. The only thing I would make sure to get are gauge wheels, otherwise the rake will tend to have a washboard effect. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
