Landscape rake for BX, XB or standard

Hey guy's thinking of make a purchased of a landscape rake for my BX2250.Since I've been unable to find a used one in my local area,I was thinking King cutter would serve my needs.Basicly home use I have about 700ft of gravel driveway of my own,plus I am sure a neighbor or two could use a hand.Also 6 acre's of field,5 acre's woods,2 acres lawn. My question is this would you go with the XB series or the standard series.Pricing is about the same for 5ft xb and the 6ft standard at my local TSC, gage wheels are extra for both or I could make a set.If I could get away with a 7ft standard there is one on clearance for $383.Lift clearance a problem for anyone?Any thought's would be helpful. Lift height could be a problem. I'm not familiar with your tractor or the rake models you mention but several of us have had (are having) difficulties with raising our rear blades high enough.

Have both the XB Box blade and Angle blade for the BX2230 with turf tires and they are a good match for the lift and pulling power of tractor. The 2250 has a little better height on the 3 point and may be able to use the regular blades. I also have a 7 foot angle KK blade for the L3130 and Massey MF35 and in no way would i try to put that on the BX, it takes too much powr to pull it and the BX could not lift it high enough or coiuld you pivot the blade around enough to effectively use it.

I had a standard cat I seven foot landscape rake that I could move with my BX but it was difficult to hookup... lift arms didn't work well... two narrow. I would just move it... I'm sure you could not really do any work with it.

I've have the 5 foot XB from tractor supply for 3 years, works great on my driveway. Good product and right weight for your tractor. I've got a BX22.
I've also done lots of clearing and rock removal for seeding grass and couldn't imagine the work it's saved. Easy to level if you eyeball it to the back of the tractor below the lights. Keep it tight so it don't swing around and have at it.

I had a standard profile rake for my 2200, and it had lift issues. I bought a Woods Estate Series (sized like a XB) rake 3 years ago, and it is much easier to use. I found the Woods to be a better constructed rake. I paid $650 with the gauge wheels.

I am using a six foot King Kutter Box Blade and Rake. They do a wonderful job and are well built but I Have an L-2800. Sure glad I went to the six foot because it gives me about six inches extended beyond my wheel width and makes it easy to get close to things.

I wouldn't go over a 5 footer for my BX1500 or BX 23.
I'm not familiar with A BX2250.
Is it anything like on the order of a BX 2230 or BX 2350?

Sorry for the typo guy's it is a 2230,some time's my mind gets way ahead of these finger's,Which by the way 40 years ago would have never thought typing would be something I would ever use.
