Rake will not stay in contact with ground when pulled over routh ground. Is there an adjustment that can be made at the 3 point hitch to provide downward pressure or is an adjustment needed at the hitch controller.

I don't know about your mod , but most don't provide downward pressure

Lengthen top link and use a slower ground speed.

I use the top link to control the depth of the rake. If you were to try to let it
"float" at least with mine, it would dig in until the tractor stalled out. Same for the box blade. There is such a thing as " draft control, most don't have the feature, that would raise the 3 point under to heavy a load. I guess with gage wheels you could do this without a draft control???

I think much of the answer to your problem lays with learing how to use your UFO control.

Maybe Tractor Ernie will jump in as the F235 is one of his favorite models.

I believe you're right on learning the UFO control, which as you know is in Japanese. I set all the dials to the left which I assume :D is OFF!?? After I did that, at least, the hitch did not automatically rise all the way back up after I lowered it.

I ordered a Operators Manual from Hoye, but I'm not sure it will cover the UFO. I'm still on a fairly steep learning curve, but getting along thanks to you guys.

Oops. I replied to one of your other UFO posts by mistake.

It will not cover the version that you have. It will provide a very brief section on how to bypass the computer controlled portion of the UFO control on the older 2 digit F series (F32, FX20, etc) tractors but not on the newer 3 digit models. Not much is known about them yet.
