Having the benefit of seeing Mrwurm's pic and your first pic, it seems like his solution would help the most. From your pic, the beam is level, as are the gage wheel arms--this is probably the optimum situation. Unfortunately, you are out of lift ability with the BX.
Using Mrwurm's approach, if your attach points were 6-8" lower, you could maintain this level situation to dig and have some lift heigth to raise the rake. His approach is also the easiest to undo--if you sold the rake or upgraded to a bigger tractor yourself--just torch the addition off.
