Hi there, my wife and I are thinking about getting a 5’ 3 point Titan landscape rake just wondering if anyone has any recommendations pro or con about the company or that particular product out the door price $ 839. Thanks for the help!☮️✌🏻

I’d recomend a 6’ rake. Your tractor could handle it no problem and if you tilt it some you can still cover your tracts.

Is this the Chinese special Titan? They are pretty cheap. the US Titan changed names recently to Ironcraft. They are better made.

The cheap Chinese Titan is probabaly fine though. Landscapes rakes are about as simple as it gets for implements.

shop around. they are all about the same. several models to choose from. heavy duty means more money. depending on what you are doing with it you can go a foot wider than the tractor easily. search online for the best deals. free shipping and no sales tax on some.

Thanks for the reply. I will check on Ironcraft. Great pictures, I see you have a 5’ rake!

It’s a 6’ rake, which I bought with my John Deere 2320 4’ wide tractor. The Deer is now sold (recently). I still use it with my 6’ wide LS tractor, although I wish it were a little wider, but it still gets the job done.

I've been looking at an Ironcraft landscape rake also. A local dealer has the 5' for $799 and 6' for $839. I think for $40 I will be going for the 6'.

I would recommend that you look for a landscape rate with the dolly wheels on the backside. I have found that using the landscape rake on three-point hitch there is often cases where the tipping of the tractor backwards and forwards due to the front tires dropping into a hole or going over a rise translates into Whoopty Doos. I think that removing the top link and adjusting the three point arms would make for better control of the rake. Working it like a road grader rather than simply an instrument hanging off the rear of the tractor. With the caster wheels in the rear, you could still pick it up high enough to dump the rake.

If you are not using to move rocks, you can get by with a lighter duty rake. Check out the county line models at TSC. At least they sell replacement tines.

I second Gee Ray's advice on the rear/corner wheel addition. Mine are hight-adjustable preventing the tines from digging-in.

I changed my mind after seeing the tines were attached to an angle iron frame! I went with another brand very happy with the 6’ it was a little more expensive $950 fully assembled. I will post some pictures tomorrow morning!
It has 2 channels holding the tines
Very well made in India!

The issue with these rakes that the pivot is directly on the tooth attachment is that it can put a twist in that horizontal tooth bar.

I have had a pine needle rake for about 3 years now. It does work good as long as the pine needles are dry. When they are damp it doesn't work that good. I also made a stand for the rake to make it stand up by itself when not in use and makes it a lot easier to hook up to the tractor.
