I'm afraid Ratshot is the safest method of removing Bats . 1 scratch , 1 bite or even a drop of their urine can kill you . The Lyssavirus is deadly to humans .

It probably perished since bats can't fly off the ground. .

I had one that bedded down in the shop. Like another here, got the shop vac, sucked him in.

Dumped out on the floor, thinking bats can't fly off the ground
wrong, he flapped a couple of times and was air borne once again.

Caught him again and with tongs took him outside and placed in the bottom of my bat house, he grabbed hold and I left. After a short while he was gone.

Oh well we can't talk to the animals.
