I wanted to add one more thing for the reasoning behind this idea. I told you previously I purchased the "spin-on" conversion kit from these guys SPIN-ON CONVERSION KIT but the Baldwing filter was smaller than the OEM filter. Right after installing it on the tractor I noticed instead of running at it's usual 80°C, it ran about 85°C that translates from 176°F to 185°F. Now this is not a big deal but it concerned me a little. Of course it also happened that those weekends the Summer temps soared into the 110° to 115°F range.
Not sure.... I don't recall if that happened last Summer or not...but probably so. It's just that I attributed it to the new conversion filter?
You know, coincidence.
Maybe I have nothing to be concerned about?
