Bear with me guys. This hasn't happened since I got married 39 years ago. Although I concluded a deal on a B2920 yesterday I woke up with some second thoughts. I hope I am not making a mistake by not going with the B7800. The b2920 just seems perfect but I might want to run a small brush hog later on. I would probably want to go to a 60" hog. I don't expect to let the weeds to get to deep and if I go a little slow will the B2920 handle it. I haven't seen any torque specs on these two machines. I know the B7800 is a healthier machine but how much healthier is my question? I probably have until tomorrow to change my mind. The B2920 fits all my other needs perfectly so if I just cut our small orchard more frequently and slow down a little will she handle it.
I could really use a little assurance from you B2620 and B2920 owners about now! Thanks!

This spring i was looking at the 3030, 7800, and 2920. They were all in the HP range i wanted. The only thing that kept me leaning toward the 7800 - 3030 was the extra wheelbase for very heavy impliments. Othwise, i think the 2920 was a perfect fit...... ESPECIALLY if you have any intentions on adding the factory backhoe. Its is very compact on the 23-26-2920s. I think that even running a five footer, you'll be fine.... you may just have to add a little weight to the front. Don't second guess your purchase. You'll love the inprovements Kubota made to the 20 series tractors (like the joystick at your right hip!). Be sure and post us a few pictures when it arrives !!

I don't think you will have a problem running a 60" hog behind the 2920. I run a 48" behind my b7500 with no issues at all. Given your extra horsepower it should be fine.

Thanks guys, that's what I need to hear. Generally my first impression is correct. I fell for the B2620 / B2920 the minute I saw them. Everything seems just right. Thanks again!

When "everything seems just right" changing it all for a future potential implement just seems like the wrong move. You are right, going a bit slower and not attempting to feed the hog too much will work well for you.

Good luck and enjoy.
