Congratulations.

Semi-serious question:

What other attachments have you bought? And are they paid off too? :cloud9:

A shooting buddy of mine and me talk about the old naval vessels being retired and going on my pond. I just have room for the Enterprise. I could use the Russian Bear Bomber that was for sale on ebay. Just need to clear a few 10,000 feet of trees out for it.

The tractor was purchased with backhoe (12 & 24 inch buckets) with thumb and ML275 loader with an 84 inch bucket, Danuser hydraulic auger with 9 & 12 inch auger bits, and a 6 foot brush hog. Last year I purchased a well used 9 foot Amco Offset Disc at Richie Brothers Auctions and rebuilt it. I also found a 10 foot drag harrow for 1/2 price over new. I got a 6 foot grapple for the loader. A 24+5 dual tandem gooseneck trailer and...................................all is paid off. Also found a beat up skid steer forks for $100........and a 78 inch Mahindra bucket I plan on turning it into a severe digging bucket. I built a skid steer attach bale spear........and let's see, what else? I also built a 6 foot grader blade that mounts on my backhoe's 24 inch bucket's teeth.

My passion is building ponds and mucking them out, so I want a Compact Track Loader and a 7-8 ton excavator. Too bad Mahindra doesn't mean these machines. But first retirement property!

Something like this? :confused3: 3/8" angle on the top, 3/8" plate on the sides and weld on tooth holders for replaceable teeth.

No grading in your future jobs?

Hey Brian. Something beefier than yours. I still grade with my 84 inch bucket. It has all yours does, but not teeth.

I always heard that you shouldn't take loans from your 401K fund (rob from your future) unless its an emergency? (IMO):2cents: Perhaps if you pay back with interest equal to the earnings you're losing its a zero sum. Unless there's penalties and transaction fees.

Not sure you need anything any heavier, the tractor will only do so much. Beef up that 78" bucket the same way, put some teeth on it and you should be good to go. I did nothing to my 84" bucket, but I only move dirt with it. ;)

You know what they say about death and taxes? Both are inevitable! Well the last payment also gives you the means of starting another payment plan, at some point, it too is inevitable. Just learn to enjoy the rest in between. Congrats
