I'd be interested in hearing of another brand going under this
scrutiny. matter of fact, when we have to set chain tension
on the JD 47 front mount blowers, there is always a bit of runout
on the sprockets, and you have to adjust at your tightest
position so as not to create a bind. quite easy to see as you
rotate the sprockets, just watch the chain tighten and loosen.
i can't say if i have ever watched any of the frontier or
econor blowers i have sold in the past 13 years this closely,
so i can't say if any of them had an issue, never had one come
back.
one thing we didn't get to see, was video of the original blower setup and
how far off it was. i am sure from what has been posted it was
not acceptable, but in the new video it's hard to tell but it doesn't
look crazy bad. yea, there's some variance in the drive, but i didn't
see sparks!! and i wonder once it's in the snow how much you will hear it...
