Financing Latest Kubota Special financing posted

I see that their (Kubota's) rates are climbing and I don't blame them at all. It's pretty hard to loan, for a long term, money under prime.

One disclaimer I do find interesting is the statement about the "rates" only apply to consumer (individual and household use). That statement has been with the rate structure throughout the last year at least.

I financed my M9 under the old 4.99/84 rate, signed a UCC form and exempted it for farm/commercial use and was never disallowed the 4.99 rate. I don't get it. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

In all actuality we have 2 units on the 4.99/84 promo. The M9 and a 105S.

We have any finance savvy members out ther that can shed light on that??

Looks like not deciding to wait was a good choice for me, plus the projects I have already completed before the monsoons hit us... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

The contract that you signed would have been a "consumer" contract even though you have it for AG use. Kubota does not go a great job with classifiying business, consumer, and farm loans - you can have unexpected problems with the paper work (they are working on revamping this now). Thus, most contracts are just filed as consumer to avoid the headaches.

Neil:

Thanks for that explaination. The loan is in my name though the tractor is listed as a farm asset on the required insurance binder

They still have up to 180 days with no down payment, no payment and no interest and up to $ 500 instant rebate with purchase thru the revolving credit. Good way to go if you are planning on paying cash or buying thru other financing.

Saved me $ 500! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Does anyone know what Kubota's required down payment percent is for a 60 month loan? Thanks

I think I can answer that. It depends on your credit history. My partner bough a new 105s, put nothing down and financed 84 months. That's a a payment book!!!!!!

We both got 4.99/84 though I traded my 5030 on my M9. Kubota's rates are climbing.
