Re: TC48 and TC55 - Pic 2 of 2

It is bridging the gap. The TC 55 will still be lighter then a TN 55 which is the biggest thing to consider. It is also going to be slightly shorter and narrower then a standard TN, hence the name Compact. There is a market for them if they are price right, however, if they cost as much as a TN it wouldn't make sense for most people to buy one instead of a TN. As it is a TC 45 is about the same cost as a TN 65 (in some places more) so it is going to depend on the application the buyer will use it for. Large green houses who need a compact machine to work inside their greenhouses but still will do work in fields might be the biggest market for the new TC's.

Re: TC48 and TC55 - Pic 2 of 2

This is pure speculation, but I'm guessing that the TC48 will be near the same price as the current TC45D because it will have beefier hydraulics, but not a hydrostatic transmission. If I were a betting man, I'd put the TC55 at about $2k more because it is new to the market, has 10 more horsepower, the electronic shuttle shift, and more hydraulic power. If I was a dealer, I'd sure try to get more for it and I wouldn't cut my prices until my lot started filling up with the new tractors. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif As a dealer though, If someone wants a 40 to 60 horsepower tractor, I have plenty of choices for them If I sell New Holland. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Re: TZ18 and 24 - Pic 2 of 2

Does anyone have access to the main dimensional / weight / turning radius specs for the Class IV's yet? I've been on the fence between the biggest compacts and smallest utilities over my expected range of uses. Something in between might be just the ticket

(or might just confuse me further /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

In any case these will be interesting. Now that Kubota has the 5030, it seems like green will need to put something in the mix...

You can actually attach any file as long as it is 100k or less. PDF's are ok but only about 3 pages worth because of size. When you attach, the window defaults file type to "all files (*.*)".

Much lighter.

Don't know about your area, but around here a TN55 with extra romotes, the high output hydraulics runs about $5k MORE than a similar TC45. the TN65 would have to be even more I would think. I know, considered the TN-really liked it but much heavier than the TC series. And the $5k difference will more than buy the loader for the TC.

It's my understanding that the larger TCs are essentially a replacement for the old 2120 series, ie. same "size" as 35's, 40's and 45's but a bit more weight and HP. Not unlike the TC40 was a replacement for the old 1920 series.

Re: TC48 and TC55 - Pic 2 of 2

It's my understanding that the new tractors are a replacement for the 2120 also. The dealers that I talk to have been waiting for these machines for a couple of years now. As I've said in previous posts the TC45 is much lighter and has a smaller frame than a 2120.
Having both a 2120 and a TN75, I can tell you that the TN is much larger and heavier than the 2120.

I am curious as to where you recieved the brochure from. We are a dealer for NH and have not recieved any thing as of yet on the TC55/48 or TCZ series.

Re: TC48 and TC55 - Pic 2 of 2

There is another tractor coming that will be in the same horsepower class. That is the TT55 which replaced the 3010S. This will be a economy class tractor semi flat deck design with a 8x2 non synchro trans. It will keep the mechanical independent pto as well.
