Laundry Washing Machine Lint Filter & Septic Field

/ Laundry Washing Machine Lint Filter & Septic Field #51
The water from our washer, showers, and bathroom sinks all go out to the grey water seep area. No water leaves our 20 acres and nobody from the county ever inspects buildings once the initial inspections are complete. I understand the reasons that you state for the regulations in general, but the grey water system was already here when we bought the place and nobody is exposed except us. To our own wash water.
Now that the plastic infiltrators are approved and commonly used for septic systems, it is easy to design an additional system specifically for grey water or for a barn. Regulations are the problem. Technically, having several separate and specialized systems simply works better.

Update

Its been about a week and four partial loads of laundry washed.

My only reason for this filter is to catch man-made fibers and keep them from going to the drainage field since most of them will float and may or may not be collected in the septic tank.

Our county is recommending all gravity septic tanks should have outlet baffle filter and this is my compromise, since this filter is whole lot easier to clean up compared to septic tank outlet baffler filter.

This is what the filter has collected from 4 medium loads, and some of you may think it's not a big deal and thats fine with me - each to his own.
