Need to pull the trigger on some replacement tires for my Toro 3500. Stock front tire is a 20x12-10. This is an oddball size so I'm having the rims narrowed so I can fit a 20x11-10 tire. Goal is to get good forward and sidehill traction without ripping the turf when making tight turns. This is a rear steer machine and when cranked to the stop it will get the front tire to a 12" turning circle. With this wide of a tire it will skid and I'm worried about tearing the turf. However I also want traction so it's a careful balance between turf damage and traction. Already looked at the chains option and they won't clear.

My short list (in order of price)
Golf Cart | Nebraska Tire (with this many knobs I'm not sure how much bite there will be, however I doubt they will tear, the price it very tempting)
2 x 11 1 Sedona Bazooka Rear Tire | eBay (this will definetly tear turf)
2x11 1 GBC XC Master 6PLY Rear Tire | eBay (this is the tire that I'm using on the steer wheel and it definetly tears when turning)
1 New 2x1 1 Carlisle ATV All Trail 2 1 Tire | eBay (these require me to go down to a 10" width which will be narrow for the rims)
2x11 1 Kenda Dominator K3 Rear ATV Tire 4 Ply 2x11 2 11 1 2x11x1 | eBay

http://www.ebay.com/itm/16191671825...38.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&rmvSB=true (this pattern is a bit more open than the first option which will offer more traction, but is it worth the price)
http://www.ebay.com/itm/19183880286...38.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&rmvSB=true (for as expensive as it is, this one is also on my short-short list)

All the links say the item has been removed.
Are Titans on your list?

I got the links fixed.

I checked Titans catalog and the only tire that's of the necessary size is a FASTTREKKR TL . Can't seem to find anybody that carries the tire though.

Looking to moving away from the the Turf CS that I currently have. Unfortunately the machine is 3wd so I can't have a mismatch of tire sizes. This means I need to stick to the 20" diameter. I did dig through the OTR catalog and I don't see any 20x12-10, 20x11-10 or 20x10-10 options.

My Husqvarna's come with turf tires, which are good, but have little or no traction on slopes and/or slick conditions such as mud. Like you, I did not want a tire with such aggressive tread that it would rip up the lawn, yet there are areas that turf tires simply were not good.

I ended up buying a pair of Carlisle All Terrain tires for the drive wheels and leaving turf tires for the steering. Best of both worlds. And even after a year of use with the Carlisle's, I haven't even worn the nipples off the tread. Super traction, no lawn ripping.

Now, don't mistake me as a Carlisle Fan; I'd never put them on my trailer, etc. But for a mower, at their price I don't think you'll go wrong.

Do you mean "All Trails"? I had considered those tires, but they're 2" narrower than my stock tires I was read that they actually run even narrower than specified.

yep - sorry about the error. Mine are All Trails. I did not find my size different than my stock tires, but for your size it probably would make difference. The tread pattern is ideal if you can find that tire in the size you need.

My stocks are 12" wide, I was hoping for a 11", but the All Trails are 10". If they were really 9.5" I wouldn't be happy.
