I have purchased 6" hose from local outdoor power equipment dealer. Between $9 - $10 per foot ....if my memory serves me right. Jacks looks like it could be 8" hose.

The leaves are coming down darn good as I type..52F,raining hard,wind 15 to 20mph,gust from 39 to 46 and limbs&branches&pine cones fallen like snowflakes...think I'll need more than a lawn vac.

Thanks for taking the time to post the pics. Where the vac blows into the trailer, did you just use a flanged adapter cut into the plywood?

I built one using the vac off of an old push type lawnvac. If you look at the photos Jack posted, it really is pretty easy to do. Mine was setup on a Cub 1250, never was happy with my trailer design though. Jack's is a heck of a lot better. If it would help, I do have an extra Trac-vac boot available.

I purchased the flanged adapter from Trac-Vac. It is available as a kit.

I am interested in your setup since it looks relatively easy to mount to the rear of the tractor. I would probably build a fixed deck plate for the vacuum to sit on then attach the trailer to that. Let me know by separate e-mail the details on the boot attachment - price etc.

The question I have is the connections into and out of the manual leaf blowers - any one type that works better? I've looked at HD for about $350 new and up to about $500 or more for commercial units.

Seems these were designed to blow air and not as suction blowers - any concern about this application?
