Lazy bones

All the time. Usually 8 - 9 is my wake up / get up period, however, most nights don't go to bed until 11:30 - 12:30 range.

I'm one of those who needs my 8 hours.

5:30am is the norm here. Weekends...we sleep in till 6am. All depending on how the 2 dogs and 3 cats behave. NO alarm clock needed here. I haven't set an alarm in YEARS!

I just realized that I was not completely accurate in my post. I woke up at 6am and laid in reading until about 9am. It was still great though. This new mattress is the cats meow.

What kind of mattress is it?

Sleeping is overrated. When in military I could sleep the whole Sunday and Sunday night, nowadays I can go to bed at 3 and wake up at 5 as always. And nothing makes a difference - pills, sex, mattress or physical work or swimming.

Funny one Prokop. I don't know how you do it. Sleep is essential for me.

It is a "Sears o pedic". Cost a small fortune but I was having a LOT of trouble sleeping. The top is 4" of memory foam and there are springs of all sorts under that. It's some alleged new type of memory foam that does not get hot or sag (so far the claim is true).

I have not slept like this in at least 10 years. I used to wake up 25 to 30 times a night and have a sore back and so on (old mattress was a King Coil and cost about $800 - it was just too firm).

This bed is amazing. I don't snore harldy at all any more, no more sore back, better deeper sleep, the whole deal. My dog likes it too

Great sales pitch, Jimmy:) I am toying with the idea of different bad for a while, the old spring mattress is really old. Maybe it will change my sleeping hours too - even that would be very short of a miracle, IMHO:)

No wonder you look tired in your avatar :D

Whether a new mattress helps or not, you might want to improve your sleep habits for your health's sake Prokop.

They tie lack of sleep to several ailments, high blood pressure, obesity, heart health.

Plus, more sleep should make you more creative, not pro-creative mind you :D

Just junk I have read here and there. But maybe worth consideration. No potions, pills, elixirs, gizmos, or supplements involved, just teach yourself to sleep.
Dave.

3 hours is extreme, I typically average 5 hours of sleep I think. Year ago in the fall I biked a century - 100 miles on bicycle - and slept 4 hours the night after. Family curse, I believe, my grandpa when he was over 65 would sleep only 3 hours and my mom is the same way now when she is 76.

But I am definitely going to check out that Sears mattresse.
