My floor around the rubber mats were wearing through the paint. Can't have that! I picked up some Duplicolor "spray in bed liner" in a spray can. I masked it off and roughed it up with sand paper and sprayed it on. It appears to be tough stuff. I have to wait until tomorrow to try it out. I'm not sure if I'll put the mats back on as dirt collects under them and they are a pain to get off or on. I almost forgot, I also did the pedals. I figured it couldn't hurt.

Nice work. Looks real good. Are you sure you don't want to put the mats back? G

Thanks. Well I haven't decided whether to put them back or not. Now that it's coated under where they go, it's less likely that it will rust from the dirt and rocks that build up under them so there's still a good chance that they'll go back in. It's raining here today so I won't be taking it out to play(er work).

Tom, you did a great job on that. It looks really good. I would think that if you don't want the pads back on, it might last longer for the same reason of dirt/sand rubbing off the coating. It sure looks good enough to leave the way it is. Of course, if that little bit of cushion from the mats makes a difference? Thanks for the pics. John
