I have looked thru various threads but cannot find any info on a Brinly-Hardy tow behind lawn vac. I have looked at the DR and the Trac Vac. The Brinly-Hardy is the cheapest and appears to have the best unloading system, but i have no experience with any of the above. Would appreciate any information. I have about 3 ac and would only plan on using this unit 2-4 times a year. Spring and fall clean up and after de-thatching. Not sure how much time to connect or disconnect unit from mower. I have a Kubota 2360 front mount 5' mower or may buy an older 4' and just leave it attached.
I would appreciate any feedback. Thanks

I had a Trac-Vac 580 which has engine mounted on drawbar of trailer and I now have a larger 880 with same mount. The 880 uses the larger 8" hose which almost eliminated any plugs even with wet leaves. To me the biggest fall season work and time saver. It almost makes leaf chores fun. I have not heard of the Brinley-Hardy brand you mentioned, but I am quite happy with about 30 years using the Trac-Vacs.
The DR doesn't strike me as too durable, but others may disagree.
I have an old Cub Cadet I dedicate to it, but they have many options for various mower configurations. I like the trailer tongue mounted units because you pull a pin unhook hose and done.

if you want to see some higher end yard Vacs go to everythingattachments.com and click on that page.

Btw, did go look at the Brindley-Hardy page and if the soft top is the only option...it wouldn't be for me. I have seen some cheaper Vacs at Lowes and Sears with a plastic or ABS top which would seem a little better.

What is the difference in pricing between the B-H and Trac-Vac models you have checked out? I was lucky and got a good deal on a used larger Trac-Vac.

Never heard of them. Glad you posted this as I am looking for something so I am interested in what you find out. Good luck in your search

Check out Cyclone Rake. I've had one for 5 years. Works good for me.
I use it behind a 2320 JD with a 62" deck.
I pickup 3.5 to 4 tons of leaves each year from about 80 trees on 3.5 acres.

I have looked at the Trac Vac, not sure if i want to spend that much for a first time. The B-H is a soft top attached to a poly cart and has a clamshell dump. Thing is Fleet & Farm have them on for $900, kinda hard to pass up !
