I've got plenty of power, but noticed a wet spot this morning when I spotted working then noticed what almost looks like grease but there's no grease point I know of there. Assuming it's hydraulic.

Looks like the nearest vertical valve in each of the photos has a slow leak, and is picking dust in the air .

I'm assuming that means to pull the entire spool valve and get in there for a real fix?

not always, start by just making sure all the hydraulic lines are snug, they do happen to loosen up over time every once in a while.

Awesome, thanks, I'll wipe all that down and then snug it up. There's a few maintenance tasks I wanted to knock out anyway so I'll plan a day to get those all done. This is my first tractor, is it just wrench tight (tight but not snapping anything) or is it more specific than that?

If your going to end up taking apart to get to the rear, spray engine degreaser and rinse to remove as much dirt, dust and debris as you can.
When my BH77 was new I had to get to the back row by removing front row connections, and I had to get into the control stick to valve connection and thread lock/tighten the falling apart levers. I've never touched those things again in near 600 hours.

i'm sure there is a specific torque but I use common sense. if it is a tiny fitting don't put your whole body weight into it but if it is a large fitting you can lean into it a bit. go by trial and error. you can always add more torque if it still leaks but when the fitting breaks you know you have gone too far. JIC fittings are conical seats that seat together any dirt in between them can cause a leak.
