I have a shibaura tactor and I ran it yesterday for about 15 min and today I went out and looked at it and there was hydro fluid that was coming from underneath the shifter boot. Any ideas why it would have come out?

With my Yanmar that happens when I Accidently over fill it.

I just checked and it seems alittle too full and also the rubber boot is loose and it is dry rotted. Not a bad fix only a few bucks for the boot.

Check level. I've seen tractors that get water in the system and it displaces theoil level pretty high.. then the natural slingers in the tranny make a mess of it.

The transmission breather could be plugged up, sometimes when my Kubota sets for awhile dirt dobbers will stop up the breather tube, then when the tractor is used pressure builds up and forces oil out around the shifter. Usually have to run the tractor longer than 15 minutes for this to occur.
