The oil seal on the rear axle on my 3510F is leaking. I see in the parts manual that the axle is held in by some sort of spanner nut on the inside. Can someone tell me how big a job it is to replace the seal or perhaps there is another alternative?

It is leaking enough to drip spot the wheel rim.

You can run the unit and keep adding oil. (Let that be your contribution to dust control) OR you can get yourself a shop manual. After reading the shop manual you can determine whether you can tackle the job yourself or not. Big leak or small it needs to be fixed!
