Ok, so I just installed a manual diverter valve. All the couplers and fittings were that bspp or bssp thread i forget the exact acronym. The implement hoses wet all npt threads. So i ordered a set of quick connects from Amazon in the correct 1/2 npt thread. When i connect them they seemed lose and I was right, they leaked like a siv!! When i hook up the male ends that came with the diverter valve they are tight in there. The diverter has all female couplers. Are the quick connect male and female side different from 1/2G to 1/2npt? I don't think so but I'm not sure. I'm thinking the Amazon ones were junk. Someone please help me as I'm about to burn this tractor to the ground at this point lol.

1/2G and 1/2NPT are not the same. Nor is BSPP and NPT. The "G" threads are BSPP and are straight threads where the NPT usually has less threads and are tapered threads. Get the correct fittings or they'll all leak.
