So this winter has been very mild and the 770 with 70 FEL has been sitting for most of the winter. Last weekend I moved a little bit of gravel and I noticed one of the cylinders is leaking pretty good when it is moving. Leaks to the point it is not dripping but has a small stream coming out. My plan is to take it off and take in to a local shop to have it rebuilt (any personal suggestions for a shop in Spokane). Last fall the cylinder was not leaking to the point it was dripping.

But the question I have is, it did not leak when it was put in the shop a few months ago. Did sitting make it go bad, coincidence?

Thanks in advance,
Bill

IMHO.........coincidence......I owned a 770 for a few years......it had about1250 hours and between the loader and the backhoe I had one leaking at all times. I was on a first name basis with the guy at the repair shop.
